Privacy Policy
Rewards Card collects only the data needed to provide the service. There are no ads, analytics, or tracking.
Data we collect
- A parent’s email address, for sign-in and sign-in codes.
- With Sign in with Apple: the Apple account identifier, and the name and email you choose to share (which may be an Apple relay address).
- Family data: family name, time zone, and a hash of the parent PIN.
- Kid data: the nickname, avatar, and color a parent chooses. We do not collect kids’ real names, birthdays, or contact details.
- Activity: tasks, completions, points, rewards, and redemptions.
- Device data: the name a parent gives a kid’s device, when it was last used, and push notification tokens.
- A hash of your IP address, to limit repeated attempts at codes. It is deleted after one hour.
Data we do not collect
- The app has no ads, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs.
- We do not collect location, contacts, photos, or data from other apps.
How data is used
Data is used only to provide Rewards Card: sign-in, syncing family data, calculating points, and sending push notifications. We do not sell or share it for marketing.
Service providers
- Cloudflare: hosting and database.
- Resend: sending sign-in code emails.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and push notifications.
Retention and deletion
- Data is kept until you delete your account or family.
- Expired sign-in, pairing, and invite codes are deleted daily.
- You can delete your account in the app’s Settings; the owner can delete the whole family. Deletion removes the data from the database immediately and revokes Sign in with Apple.
Children
Rewards Card is made for families. Kids’ data is created and managed by their parents. Kids do not need an account and never provide contact details. Parents can edit or delete a kid’s data at any time.
